We wrote these newspaper articles in History recently. We imagined what the papers and journalists might have said when Tom Crean returned after all his expeditions. We enjoyed publishing our articles.

Football Team win in Croke Park

We had a fantastic first time experience in Croke Park supporting our school football team. They played a school from Killester in the final of the Sciath an Cladaigh competition. It was  a very interesting match with some confusion but we were winners in the end. This is the first time ever a team in our school has got this far and it is a great sign for GAA success for the future. I hope to see girls from this class involved in future years.
